CB Cotton has served as a national correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC) since February 2023, based in New York City.
At the network, Cotton has reported on many of the nation’s most consequential and fast-moving stories. Her recent coverage includes the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex-trafficking trial, and the tragic Annunciation Catholic School shooting in Minneapolis. She has also been on the front lines of major political and legal stories, from the 2024 presidential election and the attempted assassination of former President Donald J. Trump, to pro-Palestinian campus protests nationwide and Trump’s civil fraud trial in New York City.
Prior to joining FOX News, Cotton was the lead nightside reporter at ABC affiliate KMGH-TV in Denver, Colorado, where she specialized in crime, justice, and law enforcement. In that role, she provided extensive coverage of high-impact events including the Boulder King Soopers supermarket shooting and the 2021 Marshall Fire. She also investigating allegations of police misconduct and corruption across the region.
She previously worked as a multimedia journalist at ABC affiliate WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee, and began her career as the Jacksonville, North Carolina bureau chief for NBC affiliate WITN-TV.
Cotton is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast and electronic journalism.
